How to Assemble a Wodent Wheel

This page shows you how to assemble a wodent wheel. Transoniq has a page on assembly but I thought it’d be better with pictures. Alternatively, you can watch our video below:

Parts of a wodent wheel

Step by Step Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Insert ends of running track into seam cover

ww-step1

Step 2: Place running track onto the front panel

step2

Step 3: Fit the back panel on securely

step3

Step 4: Put the washer (the white part) into the axle of the wheel stand as shown in the photo

I spelled axle wrong in the photo…oops. You’ll need to put a drop of vegetable or baby oil on the surface of the washer as well as the surrounding axle. The other washer should be oiled too, this diagram from Transoniq shows you where to oil them. oil spots step4

Step 5: Place the wheel onto the axle

step5

Step 6: Place the other washer onto the axle and secure with the hitchpin. You might need to hold down the wheel a little.

Remember to oil the washer and surrounding axle again. step6

And we’re done!
